List, I have noticed that sometimes Yamaha grand hammer flanges become very sluggish after filing or sometimes just lifting them to their furthest point of travel seems to do it. I've seen this only on the older ones, say from around the 70's. Does anyone out there know what is causing this? Cal Munson, Ann Arbor MI .
