Pedal operating Mechanism

Hi List,
It would appear to me, that a solenoid, could operate
the pedal mechanism. There are numerous switches
available, you could even have a microswitch operating
a relay, to operate the solenoid, where a miniscule
amount of energy would operate it.
Yamaha Disklaviers, operate the pedals.
