The rail just needs to be rebuilt or replaced. My thinking was that if a shop were set up with the appropriate tooling and fixtures, it would be much easier to build it than to rebuild it! Many of us do our own keytops and others choose to send them to a specialist. I was hoping to find a shop specializing in drop-in replacement rails to the trade. If anyone knows of a resource, please post it! thanks! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Farrell" <mfarrel2@tampabay.rr.com> To: <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Monday, April 01, 2002 10:50 PM Subject: Re: hammer spring rail replacement > Did the rail break?
