Hi John, How 'bout a leg bolt that's in the wrong place? Maybe a lyre screw? or a lyre "repair" that put some of the repair material / screw up into the action cavity? Broken action return spring? Something out of place with the action shift lever? or any of the trapwork for that matter? Just a random thought or two. Probably missed a bunch more. Good luck.
