10 seconds with kicker. I apply thick CA to felt, give quick spray, push back on strike point the compress back ends with fingers, and hold for about 10 seconds. Done. I keep my CA in the freezer before opening, but afterwards, I do not keep cold at all. I just keep it in a cooler in my trunk. Once in a while I will get a bottle of thick to gel up on me, but then I just toss it and open another. I will last for months in fine form.
