Michael:
I never, never, ever enter a house unless the client is home. I will not
place myself in a position to be suspect for robbery or damage to the clients
property. Therefore, the client must be present for me to help them and I
always like for the customer to hear the piano and offer their "blessing" for
a great job. I find that many customers like to showcase their talent so I
ask them to play for me following the tuning. If they don't want to perform,
then I play the piano for them. A little P.R. work goes a long way toward a
long standing client and the little concert lets me know if they are happy
with the work.
