Clyde, Maybe that attitude is dictated by locale (i.e. more folks willing to have someone in their house when they are not present in certain geographic areas), but I find this to be acceptable practice anywhere. Yes, for me it is a matter of mutual trust and respect. It also is a matter of my feel for a client. If the circumstances seem appropriate, sure, I would go to work in a home when no one is present - and have. I guess that although I am only 30 yrs., I was brought up to believe that verbal agreements are made in good conscience. I extend trust to my clients and find that they reciprocate - mostly. Yes, being trusting has a down side. Yes, I've been bitten a few times. No, I would not ever change my outlook. The benefits outweigh. With a small-town Michigan upbringing type attitude, William R.
