Sorting New Tuning Pins

When I sort tuning pins, it usually takes two sets to make one complete set
of the specific size. Also, I wind up with about 20 or so that are under
size and the rest are oversize. In 2/0 sets of pin, (.282"), I have seen
pins as large as .286", (3/0)! And as small as .279", (1/0)! Some sets are
very consistant and accurate, others, not so good. And it doesn't seem to
make any difference who made them, either.
