I have seen modular studios in several colleges, that are very sound proof. However, your criteria for a glass door, will negate the effectiveness of the soundproofing, even with double pane glazing. The glass is an excellant vibrational body. Don't know for sure but I suspect consult with an Acoustics Engineer might be adviseable.
