Finished tuning the Kimball grand and climbed under to adjust the pedal rod which had some lost motion. Suddenly I hear a 'ping'! "What was that?" Sounded metallic. Climbed back up and examined the piano to find that a string (G7) had broken. All by itself. Pretty strange, eh? Tom Sivak
