I think it really depends on the music being played.  I tuned a WT for a
customer at her request (a relatively mild one) not too long ago and she
tried it out with the Chopin Db Nocturne where it seemed quite obvious.  But
after that she played something else that was much more spirited and up
tempo and it was very difficult to tell.  It may also be what we are
accustomed to hearing.  The particular sonority of that Db-F interval in
that piece is very ingrained in my head.  For that reason, possibly, I
didn't find the more rapid pace of that interval in the WT to be that
pleasing.
