Good suggestion RicM.

We could even go a step further and do the test before any HT specific
ear training (both in the tuning and in the musical sense of the word)
and after.

Both testings should be done blind, and 3 HT's and ET should be used.
Participants would be asked to comment on which tuning was what.

I bet 4 weeks of class with a guy like ED and they'd Nail it every
time.

BETTER YET !!!

Lets take our two resident HT authorities and put them to this exact
test now !!

I can see it now... "Ladies and gentlemen... in this corner
representing the proud North MidWestern, Lands of the Lakes....  Bill
Victorian Maniac Bremmer ! And in this corner from places that even
wool socks dont dare tread Ed The Club Foote !!

grin.... ok... so I got a bit of a hangover.... I go crawl back into
