Veneer Question

I have a roll of pre-glued, iron-on veneer edging in my repair kit. It =
is 7/8" wide and 8' long. The glue can be scraped off as it is very =
thick and I don't carry an iron with me. You are left with a strip of =
real wood (birch in this case) that measures .025" thick. I bought mine =
at the local hardware store/lumber yard. Makes for a good shim material =
too when cardboard or paper won't work. When I get a heat gun......

products.They have the iron-on as well as the regular that needs glue.I =
have used both kinds,and I prefer to glue it on,both are made with real =
