No we have drifted a bit I said with tong in't check "what will the Eec have use ETD or our ears" well close to that any way. Notting to do with temperaments. Its all to do with Qualifications or being a member of an organization who's Qualifications are deemed to be OK with the EEC or EPTA. And how you get them with an ETD or your lug holes (northern term for ears). Hypothetically it could be.... By the year 2010 all tuners in the EEC or wishing to work in the EEC will have to hold the EPTA level one certificate. All tuners wishing to tune for concerts will have to have level two certificate. That is what they are up to. As indicated in the PTA mag who sit on the EPTA council. But what is upsetting some is that the EEC being the EEC they like everything uniform down to the curve on a banana, all should be the same - so they could eventually force us all to use ETD so well all conform to the same standard of working practices a bit paranoid perhaps.
