Pitch Again

Joe,

You are absolutely correct. Although I didn't mention it, one of the first
questions I ask the owners of an old beater piano on a first-time call is if it
will be played with anything else. If a technician just tunes a piano flat
without saying anything, and the client discovers that the tuning is therefore
unsatisfactory, there's going to be some sparks.

Sometimes clients just need a little education. I remember one who had to be
taught about transposing instruments. I think they were a little disappointed,
but hey -- life is life.

Regards,
Clyde
