CAUTs are like any other person working in a public place.  If you do your 
job right and everything is OK, you're invisible.  A non-entity.  If 
something breaks, people wonder if you ever do anything.  Since you are 
normally invisible to them, you obviously are a slacker.

Tenure??????!!!!  What the *&^%(@% is that? I, for one, have to go through 
an annual "performance evaluation" and get rewarded with a one year 
contract if they are happy.
