  There used to be a tool for loan as well. It was a simple punch with a =
hole bored in one end that fit over the hitch. It was steel but fit =
flush to the string and caused no damage.=20

  Actually it is not necessary to measure each string. I certainly =
don't. The first and last of each section and two or three through the =
middle. Even them out in between.
