It varies with grade and availability. And on whether you select it, take
random choice (including quite a bit you can't really use), or have them
select it for you (there will still be some you can't use, but not much).

Right now, in spite of the timber company's protestations that Sitka spruce
is plentiful and there is no shortage of wood and of course they are
managing their forests (and ours) in a fully sustainable manner and we
should all just butt out of their business, it is pretty scarce. Should
loosen up when Alaska thaws out. Going rates are between $8.00 and $12.00
per bd. ft.
