Somehow, this doesn't surprise me. Perhaps you could point out to me where he says that, or is that the other than "in most respects" part that isn't included? I'd still like to have this initial point of contention cleared up before you move on to universal expertise in wave interaction in soundboards. You promised me a revelation regarding impedance and wave interaction that would make me "eat my words" regarding my claim that the string moved the bridge. I would like very much to read it any time now if it's not too much trouble. You're not the only one with 10,000 characters of typing invested in this interminable thread, and I would like this core issue resolved one way or another. Ron N
