Sound waves(The behavior of soundboards)

I have not responded to this discussion because sound board 
macro/micro-function is out of my field of interest.

There is one thing I can not understand, and that is by what magic does the 
energy of the string teleport to the soundboard?

I just can not fathom the energy of the string not first affecting the 
bridge which in turn transmits it to the soundboard.

By what power does the energy of the string jump across the bridge and not 
affect it?  How does the bridge defy the laws of nature??
