Sam, Yikes! I just knew there would be a down side to the CA glue thing. If memory serves, Acetone is a solvent. But then, it will destroy the finish on the plate. :-( But, if'n you are rebuilding, then the plate gets a complete refinish, anyway, so...., why not? Hmmmm?! Regards, Joe Garrett, RPT, (Oregon)
