other temperments

David,

Works great. It should have made my tool kit 7 lbs lighter to swap the iPaq for the laptop; instead it gave me space to put another 10 lbs of tools in the kit.

I modified the case that came with the iPaq to allow the cover to fold around to the back and secure with velcro. This provides a thick cushioned support for the iPaq, which then gets set on the keys or cheekblock to my left as I'm tuning.

Bigger screen isn't at the top of my priorities; longer-life battery is.

regards,

Mike Spalding, RPT

I use a Palm Pilot now and carry it with me everywhere. Where do you put the think on the piano when tuning? I think Bill Spurlock has a holder of some type? Do you wish you had a bigger screen?
