convention sites (campuses)

Regarding the exhibit hall at a university - fortunately most universities have a gymnasium! Or two or three or four - many of them are huge!

It should also be pointed out that in years past, using a college in this role was a bit of a curiosity. My wife went to a meeting planners convention in Washington DC recently and she said there were two full isles in the exhibit hall with nothing but college campuses vying for convention business. They are fully immersed in this stuff now, and are well prepared (at least some of them) to provide top-notch services and accommodations. And talk about nice accommodations: some small colleges specialize in real high-end corporate retreat-type stuff for groups where price is not the main issue!

I should think serious consideration of PTG convention on a college campus would be a good idea.
