List,
 I must agree with Keith, I have serviced many of these pianos,and sold a few 
also,and have had no problems tuning them.You can brush the hammers,which has 
the same effect as sugar coating,which has been mentioned lately,and really 
get a  good clean tuning.They really seem to hold up well in adverse 
conditions,as in schools,churches,where temperature,humidity, is not 
maintained.
