The cabinet has a "box" in front, in which the roll mechanism was located. It 
is a permanent design for that piano, and cannot be removed. All you can do 
is attach the three sections together, and if you want, is screw it down so 
it doesn't lift up. 

With it having been in storage for 8 years, and with as old as it is, it most 
likely needs to be rebuilt. Without a soundboard, you're looking at about 
$12,000 - $14,000. Will the piano be worth it? It might be, if the right 
buyer would come along. But probably not. The only way it would be more 
valuable is if you can find someone with the duo art mechanism to put back 
in.  

Wholesale it's probably worth around $3,000 - $5,000, if that much. 

BTW, in case you don't know, to remove the action you have to remove a shift 
block attached to the underside of the action. DO NOT LOOSE THIS BLOCK. It is 
the only way the shift works.
