No, perfect toaster! I specifically have made it a point to check all DC installations on pianos I service. I have never ran across one with a humidifier installation, and I would estimate that about 15% have the dehumidifier rods. Of these, I can only recall maybe about four or five that had a humidistat (I hasn't been a big burden to check each system!). I have seen at least 1,000 pianos so far. I am amazed at how few pianos have the DC system. It works fabulous on my piano at home. That thing is dead-on pitch steady, and tunings last in very good shape for many months.
