About 15 years ago, an "old timer" gave a bunch of Journals from the American
Society of Piano Technicians from the 20's and 30's to the St. Louis Chapter.
Most of the tech articles were very similar to tech tips and articles found
in today's Journal. It was neat, however, to see ads for pianos that are long
out of production. The other thing I noticed was the sexism in the magazine.
Very male dominated, not only in the articles, but also in the ads, (which
stereotyped the women). One ad in particular said. "hey tuner guys."
