Ron, Brian, others interested in bone, I liked it! Looked virtually as good as ivory after sanding and buffing. Well, maybe slightly more variance in the grain pattern than ivory, but still good. For how long, I don't know. I'll ask John Nelson about that (also about scroll saw woodworking). Other than possible longevity problems, the only drawbacks I could see is, bone is harder than ivory (slower sanding) and stinks when heated (from sanding/filing). See Y'all in Dallas next year, OK?
