I looked at the Camry but it was because of the smaaall space in the
bulkhead between rear seats and boot (trunk to you foreigners) that I chose
the Hyundai Elantra

Call me stubborn if you must ...

My recommendation is still Toyota Camry sedan. Room enough in the trunk to
hide a lot of stuff. Back seat wide enough to accommodate an action. Rear
seats fold most of the way down for those times you have to haul longer
loads. (Long and narrow, that is, because the loads have to pass through an
opening that is considerably smaller than the area of the seatbacks).
Virtually problem-free -- spends very little time in the shop. Comfortable
ride, good mileage ... put a set of good Michelin tires on it and it handles
like a fun car.

One of my criteria is that I want the contents of the vehicle to be hidden
from view from the outside. So a van full of clear glass windows won't cut
it. I've been thinking about compact station wagons, and getting extra dark
tint on the side/rear windows. Saturn, Cavalier, Toyota, Escort??? From
this point it becomes a matter of personal taste, dealer preference, who's
offering the best deal, etc.

> I need to buy a service vehicle. I spend half my time making service calls
to homes, churches, etc. My service area seems to be a circle about 20 miles
in diameter. I am looking for recommendations. What vehicle do you use, and
why do you think it is a good vehicle for piano servicing?
