What is CA glue?

Pierre and Scott,

Maybe more important than brand, is how well the glue has been cared for, and how old it is. CA has a shelf life. The life can be shortened by exposing it to high temperatures. I have had good Zap, and bad Zap. The bad Zap had spent it's life on the shelf at a hobby shop where they didn't know how long they'd had it in inventory. The good Zap came from a different shop where they store their CA in a refrigerator. This same store (Hobby Town USA, Fond du Lac Wisconsin) has a house brand of CA that sells for 2/3 of the price of Zap, and is just as good or better, because they get it direct from the manufacturer, and they make sure it is properly taken care of before you buy it.

hope this helps

Mike
