Arrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!! I'm with Mark Wisner, it's what is under the shirt that counts. Neatness is definately important - just to show respect for the client, but whether it's blue shirt with name, shorts or tux - as long as you convey an air of respect, I think you are A-OK.
