Changed to XP

Greg,
I have had XP, since last Nov. I don't remember anything happening
after 30 days.
>From frequent requirements, to reboot and quite a few reformatting and
reinstalling, with my WIN98SE. I have had just been required to reboot
once.
I had to get a few updated drivers from manufacturers, but other than
that, no problems whatsoever.
Mind you having said that, I upgraded my computer, and had a clean
install, which also might have had something to do with no problems.
Anyway, just my experience.
Regards,
John M. Ross

| Jim,
|
| Registration and authorization from MS to use XP after a period of
time (I
| think it is 30 days) and the fact it takes upward of about 2 gig of
space
| which makes backing it up and/or installing it on another machine
more
| difficult than with WIN 98. So if you have a crash and have to
re-install it
| is an even bigger chore than 98 or 2K...
|
| Best,
| Greg
