Hi Terry, Now, you live in the tropics as I do so you should be able to answer this question. How often have you tuned a piano when the interior and exteriors humidity's are the same when A: A Dampp-Chaser is fitted ? B: There is no air-conditioning in the house ? C: When you really need a fan on because its 80% Hum and in B: ? I have literary watched pianos go out of tune (and in some cases, go into tune) just by exposing the piano to the open air with a fan on. So I switch the fan off, carry a towel around to dry my arms off and (grin) WEAR A THONG TO KEEP COOL.
