Hi Claudia, Cost effective yes, portable no. Get a 44 gallon drum lifter ? Its a thing that you put under a drum which is standing upright that allows you to tip the drum over on its side. It has fixed wheels on it for moving back and forth. What I did was to cut it in half, widen it with angle iron with a thin piece of 3" angle at the bottom to go under the piano. at the top end it has two iron handles that stick out to lay and lift the piano.
