Hi Dave
I have also had this experience of very tight pins on just a few models of
the uprights. This only was for a short time. Now they are still tighter than
what we have considered normal for Yamaha but not snapping tight as we have
experienced .The capstan wrench is available from Yamaha.

Regards
Murray
