Corte, The only time I tune unisons as I go is when I'm doing a pitch raise, but I still strip the whole piano. This may not work with the Verituner, I'm not real familiar with it. In the tenor I tune the left string of one note, then right string of the next, pull the felt from between and tune the unisons. In the treble I tune center, left, then next note up center, pull felt, left, then the right string on the preceding note. Can someone experienced in this tell me their technique in moving the mutes around (since strip muting is no longer an option with this method)?
