To all who responded to my question about carpal tunnel surgery (both on =
the list and privately), my deepest thanks.  I really appreciate all the =
helpful information and support.

At this point, I plan to gather as much information as I can from books =
and websites, talk to the surgeon some more, and possibly try some =
alternative approaches to surgery first.  It was reassuring, however, to =
hear from those who have been through this and come out alright.

If you see some guy wandering around in Nashville this summer with =
bandages on his wrists, you'll have a pretty good guess who it might be.
