Ed, I had the same dilemma with a Charles Walter Grand, which has "Spring Pins" for hitch pins. I utilized the "Dent Puller" with a special pair of Vise Grips to do the job. Yank that puppy out, rather then drive it through, IMO. We had a similar discussion several months ago. Look in the archives. If I remember right, I sent a "scan" of the tool.
