Cotton has pink and/or blue/and or yellow "flowers" not "white" and the color depends on the variety. "cotton" has little or nothing to do with 'gun cotton'.............. "celluloid" is made from complex carbohydrates which mostly form the cell walls of most plants. "celluloid" is based on 'nitrocellulose' which is "A pulpy or cottonlike polymer derived from cellulose treated with sulfuric and nitric acids and used in the manufacture of ........plastics......" "celluloid" is a colorless, flammable material to which color must be added. So you see Alan it is apparently OK to pollute the environment with "sulfuric and nitric acid" as well as dispense garbage labeled as 'fact' as long as his intentions are good........... But then what do I know?? Jim Bryant (FL)
