If he can describe the combination of curves which that pair of cap heads presented to the rep cushion, then a single cap could be fashion. Oblong because it couldn't be wider than the keystick, but would be lengthened to represent the two caps. And it would have to be cranked upwards and down, while remaining parallel to the keystick.
