Figure on $7,500 for the belly work. If the action is in good shape, then the refinishing,(maybe $5,000) would put the investment required for a quality piano at $13,000 (remember cartage). The piano should bring around $25,000-$30,000, so I would guess about $4,500 would be the most a tech would want to spend to buy the hulk. All figures are general.
