It's really incredible the volumn and quality = of his work, which was mostly done on harpsichords, virginals, and = organs. He learned to tune his own in-home instruments, and could do it = in about fifteen minutes a day, from what I have read. After that, the = piano came along, which was so hard to tune, compared to the = harpsichord, that it spawned a whole new profession; Ours. I really love the sound of a nice, in tune, harpsichord. Like a gigantic = guitar, with bass. Love the way it feels to play it, too.
