Have you ever seen what happens to a soundboard when a gobar slips? In a rib-to-soundboard press it is bad enough. I'd not want to be around to see what happens when you knock one (stressed enough to be forcing half the crown out of a board, remember!) off the top of a bridge. If you didn't end up with a hole through the soundboard I'd think you'd at least have a really big dent. Del
