Duplicating odd block

Well, its an odd one to me, anyway. It is out of one of those older, =
tiny Kimball grands with the turned legs and such. Being rebuilt for =
customer's sentimental reasons.

This is the first pin block I have seen that is thicker in the bass by =
exactly the thickness of the veneer they are using. The question is, how =
is the best way to duplicate this block?
