Broken Hitch Pin.

> I have tried drilling directly into the hitch pin stub when trying to use
the original location. I have not generally been happy with MY results. The
pin material is harder than the cast iron. Drill bits tend to wander to the
softer material - so be aware of that.

Again recently I was reminded how happy I am with the cobalt drill bits for
metal. Mine are made by Dewalt. They advertise superior drilling in
stainless steel. It could have been butter I was drilling through. Start
with a smaller pilot hole to prevent wandering. Keep speeds slow to prevent
overheating the bit.
