Actually, switching engines from one used car to another used car of suitable model should be no problem. It should bolt in just fine, you won't tune it any different, etc. The action is different because each action presumably will have been customized to best fit each piano. Unless, of course, you were speaking of putting an engine from a Corvette into a VW bus........ then should we change the name......... am I drifting into another thread..........?
