This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hi Dave. Well, I can certainly tell you all about a LOUD air compressor! = The direct drive type like the one I have in my shop is very loud. = Except for the fact that it meets all my compressed air needs, I hate = the darn thing. Eliminate the direct drive type from your consideration. = Go for the old-fashioned type that is geared down and has a belt. Now = which among those is quieter than others, I don't have a clue. Keep in mind also that for the two pianos you or I string a year, = chances are your neighbor will run his/her noisy lawnmower many more = hours than you or I will run an air compressor. Dreamin' 'bout clams & scallops!!!!!!
