hmmmm -- well, Cuz, I wonder what would have happened if you had left
the tenor alone after about the 2nd treble string broke, and let the tension
off the first row of pins starting in the treble and moving toward the tenor?

By the way, has anyone ever figured out if it makes any difference to
let off the first row first or the last row first?

All in all, I'm just as glad that you're working on this piano instead of
me ("I'm glad it's not MY piano ..." <grin>)
