I'm going to restate a suggestion I made yesterday (3/19 Re: too much O.T. <Correcting some misconceptions>Andydendum) >I'm trying an experiment, over the next few days: I'm separating the day's >list mail into TECHNICAL and NON-TECHNICAL mailboxes. (I use >Eudora). Then I can see the proportion of each, and it gives me an idea >of what such lists as I just described would look like. Why not try it >yourself? See for yourself how you would categorize the messages. I set up a folder called "Experimental Editing". In that folder I have a mailbox called "Experimental Editing - IN". I just transfer (manually) all the messages that usually filter into my PIANOTECH mailbox. I set up three additional mailboxes in the "Experimental Editing" folder: TECHNICAL, NON-TECHNICAL, NOT SURE, I go to the IN box, group the messages by subject, then distribute the subject groups between TECHNICAL and NON-TECHNICAL, etc. Is this something that is easily done with other Email clients?
