Tom,

Yes, the entire let-off rail could be adjusted (or bent), but that would do a 
blanket regulation, which would not be a very precise way to set the let-off.

They sure didn't want to make it easy to do a standard regulation procedure.  
It almost seems like they forgot to put in a jack-stop rail, then decided at 
the last minute that the piano was noisy, so they crammed one in there.

Though it's okay (not ideal) for now, my hunch is that this piano, like most 
of its Chinese brethren, will really need regulation(other than standard 
dealer prep), and soon.
